L4D lead developer sheds some light |

Though this isnt directly CS news, a fair amount of us play Left 4 Dead (L4D) and the lead developer of Valve, Randy Lundeen sheds some light on how and why they did the lightning in the game the way they did. It's an interesting read on the official blog if you are into L4D or got some spare time on your hands. Did someone say HUNTER? Where?!

EA on steam |

Electronic Arts has added several of its games to Steam in the US, but there's no word yet on when the likes of Spore will be available through the service in Europe.
The initial run of EA titles on the US version of the digital distribution channel consists of those two, Spore's Creepy & Cute Parts Pack, Warhammer Online, Need for Speed Undercover, Mass Effect and FIFA Manager 09.
The publisher also said to expect Mirror's Edge (due out at Euro retail 16th January), Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 and Dead Space "in the coming weeks".
However, despite global publishing exec John Pleasants' observation that EA is "pleased to extend our holiday titles to gamers worldwide via Steam", EA was unable to clarify European timing today.

Very well played game, winning CT side 14 - 1 meaning we only needed 2 rounds, but that took a long time as DR put up a big resistance. finishing the T side 7 - 8 to them, finishing the game 21 - 9 so a good win for us.

Well its time to announce the new team for #tbw.uzu;
